NEW YORK (TheStreet) — Apple and Alcoa were among the best-performing stocks on the S&P 500 Tuesday.

The S&P 500 rose slightly less than a point, or 0.07%, Tuesday to 1,362.21.

Shares of Apple rose 2.54% to $514.85. The iPad 3 is rumored to be launching in early March, according to Apple Insider.

Apple has cut the price of a minimum buy for iAds down to $100,000, Kunur Patel at AdAge reports.
Previously, the minimum buy was $300,000. (Before that it was $500,000 and before that it was $1 million.)
Apples iAd burst out of the gate with a lot of hype. It has since cooled. Apple has not reinvented the mobile ad industry like some had hoped it would.
